    Stormwater management System Inspection / Re-certification

    When a site is developed, the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) requires the developer to obtain an Environmental Resources Permit (ERP) to eliminate any adverse impacts that may be created. When impervious surfaces such as buildings, roads, & parking areas are constructed, the potential to flood downstream neighbors is created because the stormwater that normally infiltrates into the ground, now runs offsite at a faster rate. The roads & parking areas which collect oils & greases from automobiles is flushed away when it rains potentially polluting downstream environmentally sensitive ecosystems.   


    The ERP requires developers & engineers to develop a storm water management system which are typically comprised of several asF drawings & is functioning properly. The inspection periods range from every 18 months to every 5 years. Zoller Engineering offers the following services to quickly satisfy your permit requirements at a competitive price: 


        1.  Obtain the ERP & record drawings from SWFWMD.


        2.  Inspect the Stormwater Management System. Perform minor maintenance typically including 

             removing vegetation & silt from mitered ends & control structures to allow water to flow under the 

             skimmer over the weir & out of the pond.


        3.  Send you an invoice along with a report of your system, with color photographs.


        4.  Submit a signed & sealed Statement of Inspection form R.044.00 to SWFWMD & you.



    Zoller Engineering can re-certify sites smaller than 1 acre but also specialize in providing detailed inspection / maintenance reports, with future maintenance recommendations, to larger Homeowners Associations & Community Development Districts so they may include in their future budgets.
